Good / Bad

It's not what you think.
Not about intentions.
Not about actions.
Now
it's about feeling.
Experiencing.
The simplest answers:
"I'm doing good."
(I know… well, for the grammar people.)
"I'm doing bad."
But the meanings shift.
What once was small
now carries weight.
today's "good"
would have been bad.
Today's "bad"
would have been unimaginable.
Now
I'm grateful for the good.
Prepared for the bad.
And quietly aware
of something else
better.
Good and bad
I'm still here.
Whatever they mean.
I can say them.
That alone
is something.
There are still things to do.
A purpose.
So bring the good.
Bring the bad.
They both mean the same thing now
I'm still here.
