I grew up in a town of fewer than two hundred people called Chugwater, Wyoming. That probably explains more about me than any resume ever could. I have spent my life searching. For adventure. For understanding. For people. For joy. Sometimes that search took me around the world. Sometimes it simply took me back home.

MY STORY

Over the years I worked in nonprofit leadership, traveled extensively, met extraordinary people, and helped causes that mattered deeply to me. But titles eventually become footnotes. The people don’t. The stories don’t. The kindness doesn’t. Always Be In Search grew out of all of it, a place where travel, family, gratitude, food, friendship, poetry, loss, humor, and hope could all exist together.

WHY I’M BUILDING THIS

Several years ago I received news that changed the way I looked at time. It didn’t make life smaller. It made it sharper. I stopped saving things for someday. I started building. The books. The poems. The Churro Wall. The community. Always Be In Search became my way of leaving something warmer than paperwork behind.

Everything good in me has my mother’s fingerprints on it.

He was kind.

Always Be in Search
